Delete your account

You can permanently delete your PixQ account and all associated personal data at any time. No sign-in required on this page — we verify ownership via the email you used to register.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open PixQ Wallpapers on your device
Go to Profile → Settings → Data & Privacy
Tap Delete my account and confirm

Your account and personal data are erased or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email us

Send a deletion request from the email address on your account. We confirm ownership of that address before acting on the request.

Or write to supportpixq@gmail.com with subject “Account deletion request” and your account email in the body.

What gets deleted

Account credentials (email, password hash)
Profile information (username, display name, biography, avatar)
Favorites, collections, downloads, search history
Device identifiers and ad-personalization preferences
Support correspondence tied to your account

What we keep, and why

Purchase records — 6–10 years (tax / accounting law)
Security logs — up to 12 months (fraud and abuse investigation)
Backups — overwritten on a rolling 30-day cycle

Timeline

We respond to verified requests within 30 days. Personal data is erased or irreversibly anonymized within that window, except where a longer retention period is required by law (see above).
